    The Official eWorld Music Launch event will take place in Hollywood, California at the world famous Knitting Factory club on Friday night April 11, 2008 and will continue Saturday afternoon on April 12.

    This premiere event will feature Live Presentations, Live bands and Celebrity appearances and Interviews.

    Bernard Baur is an artist crusader and award-winning journalist. For many artists he’s been the connection between the streets and the suites, with almost thirty signings over the past ten years. He’s credited with over 1200 articles in local and national publications, and can be read on a variety of entertainment websites. With over twenty years in music, media, and business affairs, Bernard has worked with established and emerging talent, as well as record labels and entertainment companies, including Warner Bros. where he handled offline and online marketing for all WB products, from music and television to animation and films. A former A&R executive, he’s currently the Review Editor, A&R Reporter and Features Writer for Music Connection Magazine; and, the Director of Media & Marketing for The Composers Corner, as well as several indie labels. Named one of the “Top Music Business Journalists” in the country by the National Association of Record Industry Professionals, Bernard is also an instructor for the Music Business Program at the Musician’s Institute in Hollywood.

    Versa Manos is a leading media specialist in the global PR marketplace, as internationally recognized as the clients she represents. Having worked on three continents, Versa has been involved in all facets of publicity, including corporate imaging, launching new careers, maintaining superstar status for established artists and enhancing marketing strategies with savvy and original public relations campaigns. She has headed publicity divisions for film, television and radio networks, which gives her a unique industry insider’s perspective.

    Manos' saucy wit and rockin' instinct have ignited the careers of artists ranging from The Police to Whitney Houston. Versa’s magnetic presence has filled the press seats at stadium shows for The Three Tenors at Dodger Stadium, Woodstock '94, the Sex Pistols’ notorious Filthy Lucre Tour. She was instrumental in coordinating and orchestrating Return to Sin City: A Tribute to Gram Parsons, a concert extravaganza that featured a star-studded line-up including Keith Richards, Norah Jones, Lucinda Williams, Dwight Yoakam and Steve Earle. She was singularly responsible for breaking world music artist Manu Chao, described by Rolling Stone as one of the “ten great pleasures of the year that didn’t get away.” She has also cultivated long-time relationships and careers with such legends of modern music as Bauhaus and Love and Rockets founder David J and alt-country innovator Charlie Terrell.

    Manos has worked with the hippest of the hip, the critically acclaimed and the world-famous, earning respect from all those who have come under her guidance and she continues to energize every project she takes on with a strikingly sincere and dedicated--yet fun-loving--personal style that reflects an unwavering commitment to all her clients. She was voted "Most In Person" by Time Out London and was the subject of a three-hour profile on MTV Europe. Versa Manos has also been awarded the coveted "Best Independent" and "Best Publicist" awards by the British Music Industry and is a featured speaker at many high-profile classes and conferences worldwide.

    Patrick Arn, president of Gotham Records, founded the independent rock label in 1994 after leaving the William Morris Agency. Over the past decade, the label, which is distributed by SONY-RED, has signed numerous bands to major labels, earning it the distinction of being one of the premier development labels. Patrick has signed such acts as Supafuzz, Liquid Gang, Love Huskies, The Booda Velvets, Flybanger, The Loose Nuts and most recently, Slant, The Day After, Red Horizon and Mike Rocket.

    Due to Gotham Records’ success at placing their artists’ material on hundreds of television shows and motion pictures, including ‘Road Rules’, ‘The Fog’ and ‘American Pie’ (which earned Gotham its first Gold Record), the label recently relocated to Santa Monica, California.

    Patrick is also on the board of directors for the Music For Youth Foundation, which raises money for under-funded music education programs across the country, generally through major concerts honoring such superstars at Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Elton John.

    Jean Renard is presently a manager and living in Los Angeles, California, United States. He heads TRM Inc, a full service celebrity branding and management company and is a partner in the Beverly Hills firm BKM headed by manager Barry Krost, whose resume includes Cat Stevens, Sarah Brightman, Matthew Perry, John Osbourne, Elizabeth Montgomery, Liza Minnelli, Barbara Bain and others, as well as a producer of feature films, most notably When a Stranger Calls. Renard's management career began with Benjamin Orr of the superstar group from Boston "The Cars". He also discovered and subsequently managed model Niki Taylor for the bulk of her career.

    He is credited with creating a merchandising line for the Women's International Tennis Association working with Martina Navratilova, Chris Evert and others. Renard is also a fashion photographer with hundreds of national and international magazine covers and editorial pages to his name, many featuring his model or celebrity clients.

    Jean Renard is listed as the manager of Swedish Superstar musician Robert Wells the cult Industrial rock band Kidneythieves, Kidneythieves lead singer Free Dominguez he also represents the estate of American legend Bing Crosby.

    He is listed as marketing director of The In-Tune Foundation, a congressionally funded non-profit arts and education foundation headed by Dr. Michael Nobel (head of the Nobel family foundation) and Gene Maillard (formerly of the Kennedy Center and Grammy Foundation), and as marketing director for the Santa Barbara Film Festival.
